The Philodendron Pink Congo is a self-heading (non-vining) variety, and its care is generally similar to other Philodendrons, but with attention to the factors that maintain its unique color.
Note on Color: It’s important to know that the vibrant pink color of the Philodendron ‘Pink Congo’ is often chemically induced and is not permanent variegation like the Philodendron Pink Princess. The pink leaves will eventually fade and new leaves will typically emerge green, or a reddish-brown that matures to green.
