Light
- Full to partial shade. This plant thrives in low light conditions, similar to its natural understory habitat.
- Avoid direct sunlight. Direct sun will easily scorch the delicate leaves and should be avoided at all costs.

Watering and Humidity
- High humidity is essential. Elatostema salvinioides requires a humid environment, ideally 60% or higher. This is why it is so well-suited for a closed terrarium or vivarium setup.

- Elatostema salvinioides prefers warm, stable temperatures. It thrives in a range of 65-80°F (18-27°C).
- Protect the plant from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
Fertilizer
- During the growing season (spring and summer), you can feed it with a balanced liquid fertilizer at a diluted strength every two to four weeks.
- Reduce or stop fertilizing during the dormant fall and winter months.
Propagation
