Coleus plant-C 07 is a vibrant foliage plant loved for its striking leaf colors and patterns. Instead of flowers, coleus is grown mainly for its decorative leaves that can feature mixes of green, red, pink, maroon, yellow, and purple. It is an excellent choice for tabletops, balconies, shaded gardens, and indoor bright spaces. With proper care, Coleus C 06 grows bushy and colorful throughout the year.

Coleus plant-C 07 Variety Care Guide :
Light Requirements
Coleus C 06 thrives best in bright, indirect light. Place it where it receives filtered sunlight for several hours a day. Morning sun is ideal, but harsh afternoon sun can scorch the leaves and fade their colors. Too little light will make the plant leggy and dull. If grown indoors, keep it near a bright window with a curtain filter. Outdoors, partial shade is perfect. Balanced light keeps the leaf colors bold and attractive.
Watering Needs
Coleus prefers consistently moist soil but does not like soggy conditions. Water the plant when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Do not allow the soil to fully dry out, as coleus wilts quickly under drought stress. At the same time, avoid overwatering because waterlogged soil can cause root rot. Ensure the pot has good drainage holes. During hot weather, you may need to water more frequently. In cooler seasons, reduce watering slightly.
Soil Type
Use a well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix. A good mix can include garden soil, cocopeat, compost, and a small amount of perlite or sand for drainage. Coleus grows best in loose soil that holds some moisture but does not stay heavy or compact. Adding organic compost helps maintain steady growth and strong leaf color.
Temperature and Humidity
Coleus C 06 grows well in warm temperatures between 18°C and 32°C. It does not tolerate cold weather or frost. If temperatures drop below 12–15°C, growth slows and leaves may suffer. This plant enjoys moderate humidity. In very dry indoor conditions, occasional misting or placing a water tray nearby can help, but avoid constant wet leaves.

Fertilizing
Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2–3 weeks during the active growing season. A general-purpose foliage fertilizer works well. Do not overfertilize, as too much feeding can cause weak, overly soft growth. Regular light feeding supports dense foliage and brighter leaf colors. Reduce feeding during slower growth months.
Pruning and Pinching
Pinching is very important for coleus care. Regularly pinch off the top growing tips to encourage bushy, compact growth. Without pinching, the plant may grow tall and sparse. Remove flower spikes as soon as they appear. Flowering reduces leaf quality and drains plant energy. Frequent trimming helps maintain shape and fullness.
Repotting
Coleus grows quickly and may outgrow its pot. Repot when you see roots coming out of drainage holes or when growth slows due to crowding. Move it to a pot that is 2–4 cm larger in diameter. Repotting with fresh soil refreshes nutrients and improves plant vigor.
Pest and Disease Care
Common pests include aphids, mealybugs, and spider mites. Check the undersides of leaves regularly. If pests appear, treat with neem oil spray or mild insecticidal soap. Avoid overwatering to prevent fungal problems and root rot. Good air circulation helps keep the plant healthy.

Propagation
Coleus is one of the easiest plants to propagate. Take a 8–12 cm stem cutting, remove lower leaves, and place it in water or moist soil. Roots usually develop within 1–2 weeks. This makes it simple to multiply your favorite C 06 variety.
With bright filtered light, regular watering, and frequent pinching, Coleus plant-C 07 will stay colorful, bushy, and eye-catching, making it a perfect decorative foliage plant for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
