The Rhaphidophora Hayi, commonly known as the “shingle plant,” is a popular and unique tropical aroid native to Southeast Asia. It earns its name from its distinctive growth habit, where its heart-shaped, velvety leaves lay flat against a surface and overlap like shingles on a roof. This climbing vine is relatively low-maintenance, but it does have specific needs to thrive.

1. Light:
- Bright, indirect light is ideal. This mimics its natural habitat on the forest floor, where it receives dappled sunlight through a dense canopy.
