The variegated ‘Devil’s backbone’ is a very unusual succulent plant with fleshy white & greyish green leaves arranged opposite in pairs. Elongated, elliptic leaves are slightly folded upwards along the midvein, forming a boat-like shape. The stem’s zigzag shape is greatly compressed with very short inter-nodes, creating a braided-like texture.
