The Scindapsus pictus ‘Exotica’, also known as the silver pothos, is a houseplant with large, dark green leaves that have silver spots and mottling.

Here are some tips for caring for a Scindapsus Pictus ‘Exotica’ plant:
  • Light

    Place the plant in bright, indirect light for several hours a day. It can tolerate low light levels, but avoid direct sunlight. 

  • Water

    Water the plant when the top two to three inches of soil are dry. Water more frequently in brighter light and less often in lower light. Avoid overwatering, as the plant prefers dry soil to wet soil for too long. 

  • Temperature

    Keep the plant in temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18–29°C). Avoid letting the temperature drop below 60°F.

    The plant can climb using its aerial roots or hang from a basket. The foliage will be larger if it’s allowed to climb.
