Philodendron ‘Ring of Fire’ is an exceptional Philodendron that is one of the most sought-after in the world. The variation of colours on the new leaves can range from white to cream, from light to dark green and from orange to fire red. It is a rather slow-growing philodendron but well worth the wait!

Philodendron ‘Ring of Fire’ is believed to be a hybrid between Philodendron Tortum and Philodendron Wendlandii and was originally called ‘Henderson’s Pride’. It can grow up to 120cm tall and leaves can reach 35cm in diameter.

Light

Philodendron Ring Of Fire Variegated thrive in medium to bright indirect light, but will tolerate darker spots as well.

Soil

Use a well-draining potting mix, such as our Aroid Potting Mix, ideally containing some coco coir, bark and perlite. You can also grow Philodendron Ring Of Fire Variegated in soil-less mixes like sphagnum moss and perlite or hydroponics.

Water

Philodendron Ring Of Fire Variegated like their soil to dry between waterings. Water when the top 3cm of soil are totally dry to the touch.

Humidity

Most Philodendron, especially the Erubesecens varieties, will thrive in average humidity. However, some of the more tropical and velvety species will require higher humidity to survive.

All Philodendron are toxic to humans and animals if ingested.
