Pellionia Repens
Pellionia repens, commonly called wavy watermelon begonia is grown as a houseplant, often in hanging baskets, because of its attractive foliage. Features fleshy, greenish-pink stems with elliptic to oblong, wavy-edged leaves. Leaves are a variable gray-green , with dark green along the edges and variably sized light green to silver patches in the middle. Below, the leaves have purplish margins and are sometimes tinged with pink.Pellionia repens also called as Pellionia Daveauana & Elatostema Repens are reliable “Satin Creeper” with crisped oval leaves of deep olive marked umber, becoming cupped and dark purple-chocolate with age.
Soil Media: 50 % Potting Soil +25 % cocopit + 15 % Organic manure/Vermicompost + 5 % charcoal chips + 5 % perlite.
Watering: Only after Soil dries completely (dont keep the soil dry or wet for long time).
Placement: Indoor in medium to low light with Good natural Air Circulation / Ventilation.
